Anthurium
Anthurium andraeanum
Anthuriums bring long-lasting, waxy heart-shaped 'flowers' — actually modified leaves called spathes — in bold reds, pinks, and whites.
They flower for months at a time in the right conditions: warm, humid, and brightly lit without direct sun.
Common problems
Brown leaf edges
Low humidity or tap water salts. Raise humidity and switch to filtered water.
